When you join a team working with Ben Holden Ltd, you will receive excellent support from a specialist Case Manager and Registered Manager, access to exceptional training to develop your professional knowledge and expertise, and the benefit of forming a meaningful relationship with the person you will be working with, to make a real difference to their life. The Role: We are looking to expand Robbies current team to support his busy and active life. These positions are within a friendly team who provide Robbie with day and night: time support. Robbie lives in an adapted property with his parents and siblings. He attends a specialist school as a day student, Monday to Friday Robbie is a 13: year: old boy you sustained a brain injury at the time of his birth. He has a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Robbie receives nutrition and hydration via gastrostomy (feeding tube). He is hearing impaired and is reliant on hearing aids. Robbie uses Makaton Sign Language. He is a wheelchair user and is a reliant on medication daily and in emergency situations Robbie can at times exhibit some challenging behaviours when overwhelmed or frustrated and needs understanding and kind support workers to be responsive to his needs. Training will be provided Robbie enjoys You Tube and playing with his virtual reality headset. He loves messy play and using his trampoline. Robbie enjoys visiting theme parks with his family.
