PURPOSE STATEMENT We're currently seeking a college student for an engineering internship. The Engineering Intern must be pursuing a degree in automation/controls engineering or related field. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC systems using ladder logicTroubleshoot electrical circuits and control loopsMaintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate various types of field instrumentation (i.e. pressure transmitters, RTD's, load cells, etc.) and their interface to the control systemCollaborate with the engineering team to develop automation solutionsConduct system testing and validationAssist with process line improvements/optimization and other special projects as assignedProvide technical support and training to other team membersMaintain a good understanding of controls/electronic technology, developments and apply this knowledge in support of a continuous improvement effort KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Experience with PLC programmingGood understanding of automation systems and industrial control networksExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to wire/solder as necessaryAbility to read and update electrical drawings, manuals/schematics, P&ID's, and instrumentation listsMust be pursuing a college degree inengineering or a related field#LI-SS1#earlycareers COMPENSATION In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
