A Addiction Medicine Physician practice is seeking a qualified physician for Newport, VT. This and other physician jobs brought to you by ExactMD. Medical Doctors Only Apply. Our client is looking for a board-certified Addiction Medicine physician to work at 2 clinics located in Newport and St. Johnsbury, Vermont. The provider will be working full-time hours each week between the 2 clinics in VT. The candidate will be a direct hire with the client working as a 1099 employee. Top Requirements: Physician with at least 1 year of Addiction Medicine experience Board Certified in Addiction Medicine Licensed in Vermont DEA X-Waiver required Duties include: Planning and supervising provision of treatment for patients (including regular review and notes in the patient's record) with a strong emphasis on quality & customer service. Oversee any patient emergencies Oversees patient care provided by a physician extender, signs charts, etc., when applicable Supervises the administration of medications Provides patient education specific to various disease processes within our scope of practice
