Class C Stake bed Delivery Driver- NON CDL

Position Summary: Our client is actively seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join their Rockwall-based team. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products using a 24 flatbed truck. The ideal candidate will be meticulous in maintaining vehicle standards and compliance with federal and state regulations, while also focusing on superior customer service and team collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Core Duties: Ensure timely deliveries using the most effective routes. Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring all products are secured properly. Support Functions: Collect payments, accurately document deliveries, and assist with housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and secure sales center. Technical and Administrative Tasks: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report any maintenance issues, and keep the vehicle clean and presentable. Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and state regulations. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Flexibility for Role-Specific Tasks: Continually increase job and product knowledge and perform other duties as assigned to support the team and business operations. Required Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience: Must possess a valid drivers license and ability to operate a 26000GVW straight 24 flatbed truck. Previous experience in a delivery role is beneficial. Skills: Strong customer service orientation, good communication skills, and proficiency with various computer systems and handheld technology. Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Other Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old. Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) results with no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years. Ideal Candidate Profile: Reliability: A cooperative and dependable team player. Customer Focus: Strong awareness of customer service impact and a proactive attitude in addressing client needs. Adaptability/Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple priorities.
