Maintenance Plumber

We are looking for a personable, problem-solving, and experienced plumber to join our team. You'll be responsible for a variety of work orders, visiting homes and businesses to work on gas and water supply systems, as well as troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing fixtures. The ideal candidate has the technical skills to identify and isolate problems, is familiar with using hand, power, and plumbing tools, and is proficient at interpreting blueprints and building codes. Responsibilities: • Check newly installed components to make sure they work • Conduct residential and commercial maintenance and installation of plumbing equipment• Complete preventative maintenance for customers• Quote customers for the costs of plumbing repairs, replacements, and services• Maintain records of completed projects and parts used • Assemble and install plumbing systems• Troubleshoot and repair pipe and pipeline systems• Review blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures• Maintain and repair septic and commercial sewer systems• Responding to plumbing emergencies, determining the issue and making the necessary repairs.• Performing regularly scheduled maintenance of plumbing systems to prevent issues.• Troubleshoot and repair pipe and pipeline systems• Maintain and repair septic and commercial sewer systems• Prepare written work cost estimates for clients• Adhere to safety policies and procedures• Drain Cleaning experience is helpful Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required• Minimum of 1+ years apprenticeship experience under a master plumber required• Provide outstanding communication to a diverse group of customers and a good problem-solver• Candidate must have EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certificate• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record• Previous experience in plumbing, maintenance, or other related field• Ability to read blueprints and schematics• Ability to handle physical workload• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills Compensation: $27.51 - $31 hourly About Company: With our worry free repairs and guaranteed work, John’s Reliable Plumbing & Drain Cleaning is the best choice in town!
