We are looking for an experienced, service, and detail-oriented mortgage loan officer to join our team. We believe in removing obstacles and creating a supportive environment for you to thrive in. Responsibilities: • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community at large • Review the loan process by monitoring loan status, term conformity, and regulatory guidelines• Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions• Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them• Manage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirements• Meet with loan applicants to identify their needs and collect information for loan applications.• Analyze active loan files on a regular basis and recommend solutions to speed up the loan process.• Complete loan contracts and teach clients about policies and regulations.• Interview applicants to define financial eligibility and establish debt payment plans.• Monitor and update account records.• Submit loan applications in a timely manner.• Prepare detailed loan proposals.• Reject loan applications and explain deficiencies to applicants.• Respond to applicants' questions and resolve any loan-related issues.• Operate in compliance with laws and regulations. Qualifications: • Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable loans, Bridge Loans, Non-Conforming Loans, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit• Previous experience with Office Suite and loan originating software such as Experian, Calyx, or LendingWise preferred • Several years of experience in real estate, mortgage origination, or lending required • Strong understanding of company loan policies and guidelines, as well as all federal and state regulations• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, banking, real estate, or a related field• A minimum of 3 years of government lending experience as a loan officer.• Solid understanding of local, state, and federal loan regulations.• Self-Sourced - Must have existing relationships with realtors, builders, etc.• Knowledge of Encompass software.• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.• Customer service-oriented with exceptional sales skills. ***Competitive & Creative Compensation options available *** Compensation: $30,000 - $100,000 yearly About Company: EPM has grown to become one of the leading mortgage lenders in the U.S. EPM's mission is Empowering People More!
