Lead Speech and Language Therapist – Equivalent to Band 8a Location: North Bristol Permanent/Full-time position Mon – Fri covering 37.5hrs p/week – Will consider 30hrs p/week Salary: Up to £60,000 p/annum depending on experience About us: Fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced Lead Speech and Language Therapist with a passion for leadership If so, we would love to hear from you We are delighted to support with the recruitment of a Lead SALT to join our rehab centre team in the North Bristol area. Successful candidate: HCPC Registered with no restrictions on your pins Background experience working in a Neuro/brain injury rehab setting Postgraduate training in dysphagia Minimum background of 2-3 years’ experience of working at Band 7 level in a neurorehabilitation setting Ability to manage a complex case load independently with proven expertise in the field of neurorehabilitation Ability to support and motivate patients & staff members Day to day responsibilities: Lead and manage the SLT team, ensuring high standards are met across the department. Take a lead role in diagnosis, problem formulation and planning of rehabilitation programmes within the MDT.
