Practice Area: Energy and Oil & Gas - Transactional, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 5 Years, A law firm is seeking a Mid-Senior Energy Transactional Associate Attorney for its New York City office. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of experience in Energy and Infrastructure transactions, with a strong background in financing and/or private MA transactions. Key responsibilities include:Job Overview:Provide legal counsel and support in Energy and Infrastructure transactions.Collaborate with clients, partners, and internal teams to facilitate successful deals.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Duties:Draft and negotiate transactional documents, including contracts, agreements, and financing arrangements.Conduct legal research and analysis related to Energy and Infrastructure laws and regulations.Advise clients on transaction structures, risks, and potential outcomes.Manage due diligence processes and review documentation for accuracy and completeness.Assist in the resolution of legal disputes and issues arising during transactions.Requirements:5-6 years of experience in Energy and Infrastructure transactions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Experience in financing and/or private MA transactions.Preferred experience in project and energy financing and/or energy and infrastructure-related MA transactions.Knowledge of tax equity and/or IRA credit is desirable.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York, District of Columbia Bar, or Texas Bar, active and in good standing.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York, District of Columbia Bar, or Texas Bar, active and in good standing.Skills:Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills.Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
