**WEEKEND AVAILABILITY NEEDED!** Food runners are responsible for running food from the kitchen to the guests around the restaurant. This can be a stepping stone position into expediting and serving. Food Runners also prep hot sauces, soups, prepare the line in the morning and help service tables at times with the servers. If you are looking for runner, apply to this job. We will train the right candidate.We offer flexible schedules. Requirements/Responsibilities - No previous experience necessary. - Must be professional with ability to describe dishes clearly and effectively. - Understand the order taken by the server and any dietary restrictions, food allergies, changes or modifications made to the food item, etc. - Runners must be organized with attention to detail. - Ensures all food is prepared consistently and served to guests according to the restaurant's standard - A current California Food Handler certification will be required within the first 30 days of hire.
