This is a great opportunity for an experienced low voltage technician. This technician works under the supervision of the Site Manager as a field representative on installations, testing and maintenance of low voltage security systems.Job Duties and Functions: * Install, repair, test and maintenance of security projects as assigned. * Provide field customer service to customer and represent Evergreen Fire and Security in a professional manner. * Ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations as applicable to service, installation and maintenance of all systems, including OSHA safety standards. * Maintain vehicle, uniform and tools as the policy states for EFS staff. * Accurately complete all paperwork directly related to the service orders and projects. * Must be able to install conduit as necessary. * Able to work in a team or independently with direction of journey supervision * Ability to lift on average 25lbs to 50lbs, could go up to 100lbs on occasion * Bending, stooping, and reaching regularly as part of daily tasks * Climbing ladders up to 30 feet high (Use of safe ladder climbing procedures required) * Must be able to train customers on the usage of all applicable products used in installation and/or upgrades. * Must be available to travel as necessary. * Must maintain a professional appearance at all times. * Must maintain confidentiality at all times. * All other duties as assigned within your qualifications. Experience and Skills: Position Specific Requirements: * Valid state driver's license and proof of minimum liability insurance. * AA or 2+ year(s) of additional experience * OSHA 30 certificate Position Specific Preferred Requirements: * Three years of verifiable work experience * Experienced electrician * COMP TIA or Security Plus Certifications * Current Secret Level or higher security clearance. * Security certifications must pass training certification within 90 days: Security system experience and certifications (Evergreen Fire and Security will support training as required): Honeywell Vindicator, DAQ, MDI, Lenel, AMAG, Advantor, HIRSCH, Bosch, and Pelco. * Prior experience working on government contracts or military bases. * Valid CPR/First Aid cardSupervisory Responsibilities: * This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Work Environment: * This job operates in the office and in the field. This role routinely uses office tools, office supplies, computers, and phones. It may also routinely operate a vehicle.Physical Demands: * The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Travel: * This position requires up to 80-100% travel.Additional Requirements for Individual Role per Manager: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office). * Good communication skills to interface with customers. * Attention to detail. * Ability to work autonomously. * Ability to work well with others and come to work with a positive attitude. * Pass a pre-employment and continuing random background, drug and MVR screenings.
