Job Description: Persistent Technology Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in testing IT service management tools. This role is contingent upon award and will focus on testing IT service management tools, particularly with a strong preference for direct experience with ServiceNow. Key Responsibilities: Lead testing projects within an ITSM framework, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations effectively. Test the integration of service management tools with other enterprise systems to ensure interoperability and functionality. Conduct testing within environments focused on modernization and process improvement, specifically within service management contexts. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and system performance. Identify and document software defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases and updates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing activities align with project objectives and deadlines. Provide recommendations for improving testing processes, tools, and methodologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field. 3 to 5 years of experience in testing IT service management tools, with a preference for direct experience with ServiceNow. Experience leading testing projects within an ITSM framework. Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification is essential. ITIL Certification is preferred, with advanced certifications such as ITIL Managing Professional. ISTQB Certified Tester certification is desired.
