Join our dynamic team at The Debt Defenders by Ciment Law Firm, PLLC, as a JP Debt Lawsuit Defense Paralegal. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in our Debt Resolution Team, ensuring that we are properly defending our clients in every step of their case. If you're ready to be an integral part of helping individuals achieve financial freedom, apply now! Responsibilities:• Working collaboratively with the JP Debt Lawsuit Defense team to ensure all JP cases are worked properly from open to close• Critical thinking for the next steps on a case within the parameters set by the firm and catered to the case's/client's needs• Resolving cases through active negotiations with the Plaintiff's Attorney• Monitoring Legal Assistant's work product• Adhering to all deadlines for cases, including motions, trials, mediations, etc. Qualifications:• Must have superb organizational and problem-solving skills• Must be knowledgeable with the TRCP• Must have e-filing experience• Must have civil litigation experience• Experience with Justice of the Peace courts is strongly preferred Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly About Company: The Debt Defenders by Ciment Law Firm, PLLC is a leading debt resolution, debt relief, and consumer protection law firm specializing in helping consumers facing debt-related legal challenges.
