Leveraging everything that New York Life offers you sets you up for success as an agent and puts you on track toward a fulfilling career. • Licenses are provided at no cost to you• Professional training• Expert field consultants• Dedicated New York Life Home-Office support• Digital sales and marketing tools• Company and industry conferences• Industry-leading Benefits package• Opportunities to move into leadership and management• And much more Responsibilities: • Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients• Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals• Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met• Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied• Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances Qualifications: • Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree a plus• Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license• Working knowledge of accounting and sales lead software is a plus• Open to embracing the insurance industry and becoming educated about its relevant state and federal regulations• Sales experience preferred, but not required• Entrepreneurial mindset• Strong communication skills both written and verbal• Desire to help families and businesses address their financial needs• Strong business acumen • Professional business demeanor• Perseverance in the face of a challenge • Ability to engage your community and leverage personal networks/contacts Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 yearly About Company: Career advancement - Continue to build your own practice or, if qualified, move into management – you choose to pursue the path that interests you.
