Project Coordinator Location: Remote Duration: 5 months Description: Support day-to-day administrative activity related to grants prepare and coordinate aspects of grant submissions: collection, coordination, and updating internal documents, data, budgets, and other information from PIs / GAs, as well as subcontracting institutions Assist with written correspondence for grant applications, renewals, modifications, carryforward requests, and other research-related communication Draft emails and letters Manage administrative aspects of modest scope projects such as updating data on spreadsheets with input from various team members as well as department contacts Serve as liaison between departments and outside partners to process grant paperwork Draft meeting agendas, schedule meetings; compiling and disseminate materials for meetings; record meeting minutes and disseminate Draft content for and design PowerPoint decks Undergo training in sub-contract preparation process, prepare sub-contracts, and enter them into database Experience Hands-on experience with MS Office Suite (particularly MS Word and MS Excel) Comfort learning new software Solid time-management abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks Excellent verbal and written communication skills High school diploma and 3-5 years of experience Budgeting experience a plus
