DEPARTMENT: Retail Operations COMPENSATION: Hourly Pay Range: 16.40 : 27.00. This position is covered under the UFCW union agreement. JOB SUMMARY: To prepare food for customer consumption; to package product and wait on customers. JOB RESPONSIBILITES: :Prepare food items for display:Package, label and price products:Place point of sale signs, tags, stickers as needed:Stock and display merchandise for sale to customers:Assist customers with their orders:Operate department equipment in safe efficient manner:Maintain merchandise in cases, shelves for orderly display and rotation:Clean department fixtures and equipment:Maintain stock in storage area:Order replacement merchandise and supplies as needed:Maintain logs and records of damaged and lost merchandise:Follow all safety rules and regulations:Other related duties as required REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: :Must be at least 18 years of age:High school diploma is preferred but not required:Ability to read recipes, invoices, labels, signs to adequately prepare, package label and inventory ingredients and merchandise:Must be able to operate a computerized scale, communicate with customers and perform basic math calculations:Must maintain a sense of integrity:Valid Health Card
