Summary Spire is seeking an Tech II, Electrician Duties and Responsibilities:Tests, calibrates and adjusts large capacity meters and other measuring and regulating equipment in the:field used in recording volumes of gas.:Understand gas composition.:Replaces worn parts and reassembles meters and equipment and monitors for, as well as implements,:equipment changes.:Operates and maintains gas measurement equipment GC's, flow elements, H2S, H2O, and analyzer.:Ensure BLM guidelines are followed and maintain strong working relationship with agency:Responsible for documenting, recording, and correcting audit findings:Ability to understand the analysis from gas chromatographic to ensure calibrations are accurate Essential Characteristics and Competencies:Strong ethics and integrity, dedication to a safe work environment, commitment to a diverse workforce that:recognizes and respects every individual's unique skills and perspectives:Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines:Ability to adapt in a fast:moving and changing culture:Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of:people:Ability to work independently and manage time:Ability to work as part of a team and display a positive attitude for this dynamic environment:Strong verbal and written ability Supervisory Responsibilities:None Required Education (certifications, licenses):High School Diploma or GED required Required knowledge, skill and abilities:0:4 plus years' experience of gas storage/energy industry preferred Physical demands, environment and schedule:Work Environment : Work is performed in an office/ plant environment outdoors and in all weather:conditions:Work Hours: 6:00am:6:00pm:Occasional over:time Posting Requirements Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of the level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
