Location: Henrietta Johnson Medical Center Position: Dental Assistant Type: Full-time/Part-time, flexible hours, flexible days Benefits: Sign-on Bonus, DANB CDA reimbursement, Health Insurance (Medical / Dental / Vision), Paid Time Off, 401K, Life Insurance, Long Term Disability, Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), Short Term Disability Option Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player, committed to delivering exceptional patient care. They must accept changing duties, be multi-skilled, and perform a variety of tasks in the care of our patients. This role involves assisting our dental professionals during procedures, preparing exam rooms, and ensuring that our patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. Dental Assistants will also be cross trained to perform front desk, billing, and scheduling functions, although this will not be your primary role. *Now offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus and an additional $400 towards DANB CDA certification* About Us: Henrietta Johnson Medical Center (HJMC) is a part of a national network of federally funded Community Health Centers that have been serving the community for over 50 years. Qualifications: DANB CDA - or willingness to work towards passing all three DANB exams (RHS, ICE, and GC). DE Radiation Technician License (Dental X-ray certification) - or willingness to work towards passing certification exam. Current CPR certification. Ability to work as part of a team with changing requirements and demands. Compassion and a strong commitment to providing patient-centered care, regardless of a patient's background or ability to pay. Prior experience working in a dental office is preferred but not required. We Offer: A sign-on bonus of $2,000 disbursed in $500 increments over 4 months + competitive salary commensurate with experience. Full-time/Part-time, flexible hours, flexible days Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance. Paid time off and holidays.
