Job Description The Youth Pastor is responsible for creating, managing, and executing the aspects of our church that help teenagers become the people God created them to be. This includes leadership of teen Life Groups, teen services, and teen pastoral care. The Youth Pastor also serves as the pastor of the Church307.com ministry. Qualifications A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and full agreement with New Life’s statement of faithPassion for helping teens become the people God created them to beExperience working in multiple youth ministry modelsA ministry license or a plan to acquire one Competencies and Skills Fun: Outgoing, positive, and energeticGrowth: Passionately pursues improvement, innovation, and kingdom advancementPeople Oriented: Strong interpersonal and leadership skillsCommunication: Strong oral and written communication skillsAdministration: Strong organizational and delegation skills Responsibilities and Expectations Teen Gatherings: Lead a team of adult and teen leaders to create impactful teen services and events.Teen Discipleship: Make disciples and pastor them into a growing relationship with Jesus.Teen Assimilation: Lead teens into fellowship with the Church.Church307: Host worship services and discipleship content on Church307.com and social media.Perform other duties as assigned by the Discipleship Pastor.
