Job Functions / Responsibilities Some of the duties can be, but not limited to the following: : Communicating with customers as a part of the check:in and check:out process: Perform preventative maintenance inspection of truck:tractor components.: Complete work order paperwork to reflect hours, parts and lube, which are utilized within each job function.: Ability to work independently, with flexibility to support other technicians to create efficiencies to meet customer needs: Perform diagnostic inspections on general truck:tractor systems utilizing both mechanical diagnostics and system software diagnostics.: Ability to repair more complex issues with truck:trailer, not limited to wiring issues, advance level component replacements, etc.: Ability to make road calls for customers that are not able to make it into the service center Qualifications and Skills : High School Diploma required.: Safety conscious and knowledge of general shop safety.: Capable of completing job functions without repeat repairs.: In:depth knowledge of NHTSArules and regulations.: Additional education or ASE certificates from college or trade schools are preferred.: 6+ years of truck:trailer experience.: DOT and CDL licensesare required. ** Leveling will be based determined on experience (DOE) ** ** Shifts can vary and can change based on business needs and availability ** Benefits As a U.S. PACCAR employee, you have a full range of benefit options including: : 401k with up to a 5 company match: Fully funded pension plan that provides monthly benefits after retirement: Comprehensive paid time off : minimum of 10 paid vacation days (additional days are provided with additional seniority/years of service), 12 paid holidays, and sick time: Tuition reimbursement for continued education: Medical, dental, and vision plans for you and your family: Flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings account (HSA): Paid short:and long:term disability programs: Life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance: EAP services including wellnes
