This position will provide thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders, including our sales and marketing teams and functional leadership. In addition, this role will work directly with customer:facing representatives and cross:functional peers in the analysis of opportunities and related forecasts. RESPONSIBILITIES: : Translating brand and market trends into actionable business observations and recommendations to achieve both McCormick and customer goals and objectives.: Providing analysis and shopper insight:driven recommendations supporting our annual business plans include all key business drivers: merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving (MAPS).: Leveraging all available analytic tools to develop trade strategies maximizing McCormicks performance metrics.: Provide insight and direction into the development of new item business plans and support the Commercial Review process by participating in the forecast development to ensure customer requirements are met.: Developing collaborative cross:functional relationships with internal and customer:facing stakeholders. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: : Bachelors Degree in business, Marketing, Management Finance, or related field: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, finance, marketing, or business management: Minimum of 2 years of analytical experience building fact:based presentations or direct selling experience to retailers: Proven capability of working in a team environment: Strong analytic skills, and demonstrated ability to translate insights pulled from large amounts of data into actionable business recommendations that deliver positive results: Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, with the ability to analyze and understand the data and then effectively communicate those insights to both internal and external audiences: Ability to react quickly and complete tasks in a timely manner to meet deadlines: Ability to work in cross:functional teams, self:motivated and team:oriented PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: : A minimum of 2 years of Category Management experience is strongly preferred: Direct experience selling to retailers or distributors: Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office LI:SM1 McCormick and Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
