JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Executive Director of IT, this role is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of finance and accounting projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating business processes and operational procedures with recommended improvements to - or new requirements for - implementing industry standard and best practices to support the operations of the Finance and Accounting teams. This role requires a blend of finance/accounting expertise, project management skills, technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Actively support and participate in projects, from concept through design, development, implementation, and post-launch evaluation. Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements and technological advancements to support the business. Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and risk assessments. Participate in cross-functional team meetings to review project status, resolve issues, and coordinate activities. Support ERP configuration and administrative functions as well as write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in the review, testing and implementation of ERP upgrades or patches as well as evaluate and recommend new functionalities able to provide a competitive advantage. Maintain awareness of current trends in finance with a focus on applying key technologies. Perform other related duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes, and related technology. Proficiency in project management software tools, ERP software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting finance and accounting teams Experience in implementing and supporting ERP, FP&A or similar applications Infor Cloudsuite Automotive experience a plus PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus. Working in a collaborative team and balancing the needs of individual stakeholders while delivering corporate objectives.
