As a Life Plan Community, Rockhill offers a continuum of care that includes Residential Living, Personal Care for adults who need assistance with daily activities, and Health Care for individuals in need of 24-hour support.Guided by God's love, Grace Inspired Living is dedicated to providing communities and services that enhance the lives of older adults in a supportive setting that values residents, employees, volunteers, and families.We offer PHENOMENAL BENEFITS to full time employees including:Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage * Retirement 401(k) *Life Insurance *Short Term Disability *Generous tuition reimbursement *Paid Time Off (starts accruing Day 1) *Extended Sick Bank (after one year)* Employee discount at our on-site caf-- *Free pool and fitness facility * and more......POSITION SUMMARY:The Director of Nursing is responsible for directing the operations of the nursing department ensuring that quality care is given to the residents.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-Organize, Supervise, and Evaluate the Nursing Department.-Supervise and Evaluate the residents' care-Assist with safety assurance for residents and associates. -Maintain working knowledge of current state and federal regulations which affect resident care and community operation. -Coordinate the review and revision of the Facility Assessment on an annual basis. -Participate in periodic surveys by the PA Department of Health and complete required paperwork and plans of correction in a timely manner. -Monitor resident medical record documentation for adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.-Complete and submit required forms and reports in a timely manner.-Participate in the development of the annual nursing budget.-Promote a constructive working relationship between all disciplines.-Participate in various committees and conferences. -Promote favorable public relations. -Exhibit professional nursing and leadership attributes. -Attend management meetings as requested by the Executive Director. -Collaborate with Executive Director on projects. -Know and follow existing lines of communication and authority. -Assure that resident rights are maintained at all times, reporting suspected deviations to immediate supervisor
