Project Overview Bechtel is partnering with NextDecade to support their vision to provide the world access to lower carbon intensive energy with their Rio Grande LNG (RGLNG) project in Brownsville, Texas. RGLNG is a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal situated on a 984:acre site on the banks of the Brownsville ship channel. The first phase of the RGLNG project consists of three liquefaction trains, two storage tanks and one marine berth. At full capacity, the five:train facility will have a production capacity of 27 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). Project Location Overview Brownsville, Texas is a city known for its diverse history, tradition, and rich culture. Brownsville embraces innovation, looks forward to the future and beyond Job Summary: In this role, you will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders' involvement, through the coordination and instruction of subcontractor's management staff. Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely. Major Responsibilities: :Monitors and directs subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractors management staff within the area of responsibility.:Role supports on large projects of high complexity with multiple stakeholders' involvement.Planning :Reviews and monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.:Reviews and approves where necessary, subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.:Leads the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.Safety / Quality :Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements:Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.Technical :Works with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents:Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.:Coordinates with Design on constructability issues.
