Friendship Village is the premier retirement community in the Cedar Valley, servicing retirees from independent living to skilled care. We are looking for employees that are hardworking, dependable, caring individuals who are dedicated to going the extra mile in everything they do. We want only those who practice open and honest communication and build trust in one another. Job Duties: Serve meals to residents Assist residents as needed Set up and cleaning of food serving areas Keeping dining room spotless Set up and cleanup of dining room to required specifications May assist with dish washing or other dining services Experience is preferred but will train a friendly, caring individual with drive and eagerness to learn. All positions required to work every other weekend and some holidays. Working Hours: 30 Hours per week Varied hours from 7:00AM - 6:30PM Every other weekend and holidays Qualifications: Responsible Flexible schedules (some weekends and after school hours required) Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include: Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, and TB test.
