Psychiatrist opening in Hickory, NC - 60 minutes from Charlotte, NC Seeking a BC/BE, IP/OP, Psychiatrist to Join 3 Psychiatrists and 3 Advanced Practice Providers. Job Details: - Full time- 258-bed, independently owned, non-profit medical center- IP unit is 38 beds; divided into a general adult unit, geriatric unit, intensive care unit, and med-psych unit- Hospital owned outpatient clinic adjacent to hospital campus- Hospital Employed- Call is generally 1:5, rotating week nights. Weekend call is 1:5 (rounding and call) with an advanced practice provider- Multidisciplinary treatment team including a clinical psychologist, APP, licensed clinical social worker, addiction specialist, and other disciplines on staff. Group meets daily to plan care and workloads.
