Practice Area: Insurance Defense - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm is seeking a Tort And Insurance Associate Attorney with the following responsibilities, qualifications, and skills:Job Overview:The Tort And Insurance Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling insurance litigation matters, including drafting and reviewing pleadings, evaluating cases, responding to discovery, preparing and arguing motions, attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients, as well as negotiating settlements. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional writing and analytical skills, exhibit a strong work ethic, be highly organized, and communicate effectively.Duties:Drafting and reviewing pleadingsEvaluating casesResponding to discovery requestsPreparing and arguing motionsAttending hearings, depositions, and mediationsConducting meetings with clientsNegotiating settlementsRequirements:Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance litigationExceptional writing and analytical skillsLicensed member of the Florida Bar in good standingEducation Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Florida BarSkills:Strong work ethicHighly organizedExcellent communication skills This Fort Myers, Florida based law firm has two additional offices in Florida.
