About the Job Sigma Defense is in search of a former Senior Surface Warfare Officer with extensive experience in Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and technical management to assume the role of C3F Senior BMD Operations Manager - Post Command within the Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP) team at Commander, U.S. THIRD Fleet. The ideal candidate, preferably a post-Surface Commander Command or Officer, should have a minimum of 7 years' experience at the warfare commander staff level planning and executing BMD/IAMD operations or similar training. They should be a qualified Aegis BMD Tactical Action Officer or possess a similar Air Defense qualification. The position requires expertise in BMD training configuration, operation, maintenance, and management to support TTGP's mission of providing tactical training to ships through Fleet Synthetic Training (FST). The candidate will contribute to cutting-edge Live Virtual Training initiatives and enhance the Navy's capabilities. Requirements include holding an active DoD issued Top Secret security clearance, possessing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (no specific discipline required), and having at least 5 years of experience on the capabilities and limitations of AEGIS weapons system baselines, as well as on Fleet and Theater Air Defense Commander IAMD publications for BMD certifications and sustainment exercises. Additionally, the candidate should have experience preparing materials and briefs for executive-level audiences and supporting planning or execution of BMD operations or exercises. The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $135,000 annually, complemented by benefits such as dental and vision insurance, medical insurance with an HSA and HRA plan, life and A&D coverage, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions, educational assistance, and 160 hours of paid time off with carry-over up to 240 hours.
