Contract rate, IR35 Determination and Contract Duration: The hourly rate on offer for the successful Contract Embedded Software Engineer is GBP 40:60 per hour, depending on skillset and experience, and this will be working INSIDE IR35. The contract duration for the successful Contract Embedded Software Engineer is 6 months, with the option to extend if required. Flexible hybrid working arrangement: Working 3 days in the office and 2 from home is available. If you prefer working more days in the office, that's fine. Contract Embedded Software Engineer Key Skills: : 3:5+years minimum industry experience : Experienced embedded S/W developer : Experienced in C++ development for applications running on Linux and Free RTOS : Experience of development for STM32 and Xilinx Zynq : Knowledge and experience of developing using Vitis development environment : Embedded Software Tools (IDE) : Eclipse, QT, MPLAB X, Visual Studio, ARM Keil : Experience of writing bootloaders that can also be used to install the application : Experience of UART, SPI, I2C drivers and network stacks : Working in an agile environment Bonus nice to have skills: : Experience and familiarity of.
