The ideal candidate will manage all legal processes from inception through post-judgment remedies, provide high-quality legal representation, and demonstrate exceptional legal research, writing, and oral communication skills. Duties:Manage all legal processes from inception through post-judgment remediesProvide high-quality legal representation and fair payment solutions to clientsTreat all customers with fairness and respectHandle high-volume caseload and provide expert analysis on legal and regulatory risksNegotiate with opposing counsel to achieve final case resolutionTravel to various courts within Virginia for legal representation and court hearingsReport all activity and results to the Managing Attorney Requirements:J.D. from accredited law school with active license to practice law in VAIn-depth knowledge of Federal Debt Collection Law and State civil litigation lawsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExemplary oral and written communication skillsOutstanding time management skillsActive VA license required; license in other states within the firm's footprint (NC, SC, TN, FL, GA, MD, MI, OH) is a plus Skills:Legal research, writing, and oral communicationAnalysis of case law and providing recommendationsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteTime management and organizationNegotiation and conflict resolution Experience:0-4 years’ experience in civil litigation/trial experience, with preference given to candidates that possess experience in debt collection, foreclosure, FDCPA, RESPA, and TILA claims, as well as creditor rights generally This firms Atlanta office represents clients in REO, closings, evictions, foreclosures, collections, bankruptcy, and litigation matters.
