The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, and a proven track record of managing challenging workloads within a fast-paced environment.Duties:Lead mergers and acquisitions transactions from inception to closing.Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and other documentation in complex mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions.Lead due diligence teams.Provide counsel on general corporate matters and corporate governance.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across practice areas.Mentor and train junior associates.Requirements:A minimum of four years of significant experience in corporate transactions, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and private equity, is required.Strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and related documentation.Proven ability to manage challenging workloads.Exceptional interpersonal skills.High degree of maturity.Strong academic credentials and writing skills.Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.Skills:Proficiency in drafting acquisition agreements and related documentation.Ability to lead mergers and acquisitions transactions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.General corporate and corporate governance knowledge.
