3rd Shift 10PM-6:30AM Employbridge is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic A in Panorama City, CA! Summary: Utilize mechanical and electrical expertise to conduct repairs, installations, and preventative/unplanned maintenance on all production equipment. * Install, trouble-shoot, and repair solid state and electronic equipment as well as mechanical equipment. * Install, operates, maintains, checks, and trouble-shoots all types of A/C and D/C electrical equipment. * Procedure of troubleshooting to determine when parts need replacement and when repairs are necessary. * Dismantles, repairs, and re-assembles gearboxes, fans, conveyors, blowers, compressors, pump, valve, and mechanical equipment when directed. * Installs and repairs electrical conduit, cables, piping, tubing, controls, and grounding as directed. * Operates mobile lift truck and hoisting in the performance of maintenance work. Possess knowledge of simple rigging when necessary for equipment moving and relocation. * Disassemble, repair and reassemble gear boxes, fans conveyors, blowers, compressors, pumps, valves, furnaces, drives and all allied mechanical equipment related to electrical troubleshootingExperience: 4 years of industrial maintenance/electrical experience. Food/beverage production environment experience preferred. Skills: 1 Familiar with local, state and federal electric codes 2 Certified for PLC programming preferred (Allen Bradley or similar) 3 Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) 4 Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) 5 AC and DC electrical and mechanical equipment 6 Electrical conduits, cables, piping and tubing. 7 Complex electrical circuits experience 8 Experience with hydraulic and air compressors 9 Knowledge of Gas & Plasma cutting equipment, MIG/TIG/ARC welding 10 Power and hand tools. 11 Electrical test equipment.
