Full Time Pharmacist Clinical Specialist - Pediatrics / NICU opening with a hospital in the Fort Wayne area. Competitive salary based on your experience, sign on bonus, relocation assistance Why this job:230+ bed hospitalDays, - position will be an 8-on/6-off schedule with full time benefits.Hospital has provided specialty pharmacy services in pediatrics for over 25 years.As the Pediatric Pharmacist Clinical Specialist you will provide direct patient care at a Children's hospital. with a targeted role in the neonatal intensive care unit with additional coverage of other pediatrics area when on-site faculty is unavailable.Participate in pharmacy-based projects, multidisciplinary committees, and will precept student pharmacists and pharmacy residents.Currently this location is undergoing many facility updates (room renewal, expansion, and technology updates) along with an expansion of care for pediatric gastroenterology, endocrinology, cardiology, and hematology/oncology specialist services.Experience required: PGY1 pharmacy residency and PGY2 residency in Pediatrics or equivalent experience is required, Pharmacy Degree from an ACPE-accredited institution, IN licensed or eligible to obtain. Must have a high level of clinical practice skills, enthusiasm for teaching, and the interpersonal skills needed to interact effectively with students, health professionals, and patients.
