EOEPosition Information: The Surgical Technologist Labor and Delivery II is an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical and patient care. -Functions under the supervision of a surgeon or registered nurse to ensure that the operating room environment is safe that equipment functions properly and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. -Assists with patients in triage. -Assists with the breakdown and instrument care in the Labor and Delivery deck area.Experience Requirements: No Experience RequiredEducation Required: Graduate Surgical Technology Required - Or Associate's Degree Surgical Technology Required - Or -Military - Surgical Technology RequiredLicensure/Certification Requirements: Certified Surgical Technologist RequiredHours of Work: NightsWeekend Requirements: As NeededCall Requirements: As needed
