The role, at a glance: As the Accounts Receivable Assistant, you will support Biamp’s Credit Analysts. You will interface with Biamp customers globally, building strong relationships and ensuring that customer payments are received according to agreed terms, as well as processing transactions quickly and accurately. This role is based at our world headquarters in Beaverton, OR. How you'll contribute: Assist with processing customer invoices for product shipments, parts orders and repair services. Enter and apply all customer payments in ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics AX). Contact customers by email, phone and letter to secure payment on overdue amounts. Recommend and implement opportunities to continuously improve accounts receivable processes. Develop and maintain work instruction documentation for critical department processes. Uploading and maintaining documents and files as needed. A successful candidate should have: High School Diploma or GED. 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivables. Exceptional attention to detail and 10 key data entry skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to develop strong relationships inside and outside of the organization. Basic knowledge of accounting processes, including account reconciliations. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel. Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred. Work environment: Office environment - may sit or stand for long periods of time.
