REQUIREMENTS:1 YEAR MEDICAL COLLECTIONS (PREFERABLY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH)1 YEAR MEDICAL BILLING (PREFERABLY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH)BENEFITS ELIGIBILITY ~~ FIRST OF THE MONTH FOLLOWING 30 DAYSGENEROUS PAID TIME OFF POLICYMEDICALGAPDENTALVISIONCRITICAL CAREACCIDENT INSURANCECOMPANY PAID LIFE INSURANCE1. Knowledge of billing and collections to 3rd party insurance plans (Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Florida Blue, Etc.)2. Ability to work efficiently on bound calls and obtain online statuses from 3rd party insurance plans.3. Keep accurate records and document calls to 3rd party insurance plans.4. Work denials efficiently and use resources and tools to obtain a paid status of claims5. Communicate effectively with coworkers to fix issues with claims6. Strong organizational skills7. General knowledge of Google - primarily Google Sheets8. Ability to resolve insurance payor denials9. Ability to navigate EMR systems and billing software systems10. General understanding of coding and CPT codes11. Knowledge of HIPAA and protecting patient data12. Awareness of typical denials and the corrections needed in order to obtain paid status of claims13. Possibility of charge entry14. Knowledge of the entire revenue cycle Compensation based on experience
