Park Attendant Seasonal, Part Time or Full Time $13 - $17.75 per hour Are you ready to be the guardian of our city's green spaces? We're seeking a dedicated Park Attendant to play a pivotal role in opening and closing parks, ensuring security, and creating a welcoming environment for park enthusiasts The duties will include patrolling trails, setting up and taking down tables, chairs, and displays, performing light maintenance, and maintaining the cleanliness of the park. Your friendly smile will shine as you provide information to park users, enforce park rules, and assist with site clean-up. Key Duties: Open and close parks and facilities Patrol trails and provide a secure environment for park-goers Set up and take down equipment Perform light maintenance and cleaning Monitor and enforce park rules Offer friendly assistance to park users and ensure they have a positive experience Qualifications: Possession of a valid Michigan driver's license and a reliable vehicle for transportation between locations. Mileage is reimbursed. Possession of a cell phone, for communication to the DPS office Ability to operate an off-road utility vehicle or pickup truck if required Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Ability to do extensive walking and/or biking over various terrains Ability to work outdoors, regardless of the weather Join our team and be a vital part of fostering a sense of community and enjoyment in our city's green spaces!
