Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Registered Nurse Professional Development Practitioner to join our talented team. As a Registered Nurse (RN) at WTCP, you will have the opportunity to contribute to patient care and improve their outcomes. The location is in Danville, PA The working schedule for this role is Days (M-F), 40 hours/week) The duration is as a contactor for 26 weeks The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer Holiday coverage is required EMR used: Epic The pay: $78.75 Hourly ($2,320.00 Taxable, $830.00 Stipend) = $3,150.00.00 Weekly = $12,600.00 Monthly Gross Date: 05.11.2024 | Job Number: 266909 Key Responsibilities: Coordinates and supervises the delivery of educational activities on assigned unit Collaborates with managers to supervise the orientation process Develops educational programs and processes to promote professional development for nurses throughout the organization Assists in the implementation and continuing support of the electronic medical record Uses tools, skills and knowledge to improve the healthcare practice of learners Uses educational design process to bridge the knowledge, skills, and practice gaps identified through a need assessment Provides classroom instruction using these techniques and innovative processes Actively works to transform processes through inspiration, initiation, adaptation and sustainment of and adaptation to change using project management and improvement process Provide leadership on unit, councils and committees Influences the inter-professional practice and learning environments in nursing and healthcare Assists others in their professional role development, practice role transitions, and succession planning Professional role development involves identification and development of strategies to facilitate a continuous process of maturation through lifelong learning Promotes the generation and dissemination of new knowledge and the use of evidence to advance the NPD practice, guide clinical practice and improve patient care Actively supports, promotes and demonstrates nursing professional development as a nursing practice specialty Develops, coordinates, manages, facilitates, conducts and evaluates onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel Provides direct supervision to assigned personnel, assists with orientation and integration of new employees, and builds a sense of pride in employees and promotes good morale Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree-Nursing (Required), Master's Degree- (Preferred) Minimum of 3 years RN experience, including Pediatric ICU (Required) Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania or Multi-state Licensure) Basic computer skills Professional, friendly attitude Benefits: Weekly pay | Direct Deposit Flexible Spending Account (FSP) 401K Retirement Plan Voluntary Supplemental Benefits Guaranteed Hours Per Facility Standard Holiday Pay Mileage Reimbursement | Commuter Benefits License and Certification Reimbursement Continuing Education Reimbursement Reimbursement for Work Uniforms or Scrubs Stipends for Housing, Meals and Incidentals Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits for you and your family Waterfall Technology Consulting Partners LLC (WTCP) is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
