YOUR DAY AS A DVM - EXOTIC DOMESTIC ANIMAL VETERINARIAN As a valued member of our team, your day is filled with diverse responsibilities that cater to the needs of both exotic and domestic animals. You provide routine examinations, diagnose ailments, and recommend appropriate treatments for a variety of animals. With a focus on preventative healthcare and overall pet well-being, you also administer species-appropriate vaccinations and offer valuable advice to pet owners. Interpreting blood, urine, cytology, and radiographs, as well as updating client records using our Avimark EMR software, round out your fulfilling day. REQUIREMENTS Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures Work experience as a veterinarian is preferred but we are willing to train you!
